Earth & Fire is Southern Indiana's neighborhood pottery studio. Walk in any afternoon, choose from shelves of mugs, plates, bowls, and figurines, and paint at your own pace. We glaze and kiln-fire it, and you take home something you actually use.

How it works
Three steps, no experience needed
Staff walk you through every step, and there are stencils, stamps, and lettering tools on hand for anyone who wants a little help.
Paint at your own pace
Choose from the glaze wall, grab brushes and tools, and settle in. Snacks and drinks are available, and there's no clock on your table.
We glaze and fire it
Leave your piece with us. It's dipped in clear glaze and kiln-fired, and it's usually ready to pick up about a week later.
What it costs
You pay for the piece you choose plus a studio fee that covers paint, tools, glaze, and firing. Smaller pieces keep a family visit affordable. Call for current piece prices and the studio fee.

Parties & more
Room for your whole group
Birthdays, showers, office outings, scout troops, and date nights all fit here. Our party room has hosted groups of fifteen and up.
Birthday parties
A reserved space, a piece for every guest, and staff to keep the paint flowing. Pieces are fired and ready for pickup after the party.
Mobile art parties
We pack up pottery, paint, and supplies and set up at your home, church, school, or office. We bring the finished pieces back after firing.
Pottery to go
Short on time? Pick your pieces and colors, paint at home, and bring them back to us for glazing and firing.
Kids camps
Multi-day camps introduce kids to the basics of pottery and painting in a relaxed, hands-on setting. Call for upcoming dates.
Classes & special nights
Technique classes, discount days, and adult evenings on select dates. Follow us on Facebook for the current calendar.
Signature platters
Weddings, anniversaries, showers, retirements, and teacher gifts. We fire and glaze the platter first, then guests sign it with a signature pen.
